Kip Dunkelberger joins Venture Mortgage

Edina-based commercial real estate mortgage firm hires former Welsh Capital Vice President to be new VP of commercial loan originations

EDINA, Minn., Jan. 22, 2010 – Venture Mortgage is pleased to announce that Kip L. Dunkelberger has joined the Edina-based mortgage banking firm as Vice President of Commercial Loan Originations.

During his career, Mr. Dunkelberger has delivered effective financing solutions for numerous developers, investors and business owners throughout the Twin Cities area and beyond, leveraging the relationships he has cultivated with life insurance companies and other lenders. In his new role, he will be responsible for originating commercial real estate mortgages and growing the client base at Venture Mortgage. 

Mr. Dunkelberger comes to Venture Mortgage from Twin Cities-based Welsh Capital. He joined Welsh as an Associate in January 2005 and was promoted to Vice President in January 2007.

In 2002, prior to joining Welsh Capital, Mr. Dunkelberger co-founded Commercial Mortgage Advisors in Wayzata, Minn. He began his career in commercial mortgage banking in 2001 as an analyst with Voyager Bank in Eden Prairie, Minn.
