Behind every great executive is a great administrative assistant and Pat Fox is a shining example. Pat is responsible for all administrative duties for the producers at Venture Mortgage, including answering phones, daily correspondence, scanning, faxing, photo copying, dictation and much more. She also helps the assistant VP with loan packaging and servicing inspections, as well as ordering and maintaining all office manuals and materials.
And to think we almost never found her. Some years ago, our previous administrative assistant was planning to move away. She happened to mention that fact to Pat’s husband when she was picking up film at his photo lab. Since Pat’s husband had heard the woman rave about working at Venture Mortgage, he encouraged Pat to pursue the opportunity. That was back in 2002, and Pat has been a vital part of the Venture Mortgage team ever since.
If you spend any time with the Venture Mortgage folks, you might get the impression that a love of golf is a prerequisite for employment. Well, not quite. But, if it was, Pat would fit right in. If she’s not playing golf, she’s frequently watching it. She also enjoys watching baseball and football, and reading.

- Worked in the restaurant business with Baker’s Square and Timber Lodge Steakhouse before finding her niche at Venture Mortgage
- Started career as a hairdresser after graduating from the Minneapolis School of Beauty
