Peter A. Hennen

Vice President
Work Number:
(952) 843-5124

It might be a stretch to say that Peter Hennen’s keen interest in real estate was “sparked” at 10 years of age on a friend’s family farm when he accidentally burned down the barn. But it is fair to say that memorable day made an impression on young Peter about accountability.

Today, Peter says that he no longer plays with matches. In fact, he is the very model of responsibility. His role is to originate multi-family projects and commercial real estate mortgage loans for our corresponding life insurance companies and institutional lenders – and it’s a job he takes very seriously. He is known among his clients and peers as a trustworthy professional who can get the job done. He’s been with Venture Mortgage since 1994 when Mick Thorsland lured him away from a rival commercial real estate mortgage firm.

It would be poetic justice if we could say that Peter spends his free time as a volunteer firefighter. Sorry, no such luck. However, the Shakopee, Minn., native enjoys a range of other, less combustible leisure pursuits, including golf, motorcycle riding and playing in the worship band at his church with his wife. His dream job is to be a mountaineering guide on Mount Rainer or the High Sierras of California. But, lucky for us, he focuses on helping his clients to create wealth and reach their financial objectives.
